Not a lot in my notes for [Bronco / Buffalo] Billy's. Lost $10 on the Craps Table doing the harvest. The dang place has taken over the whole block, and there wasn't any good signage as to what was in each storefront. Took me quite a while to find the level with the table games! Riding my Mobility Scooter is a pain in the * as there are stairs at each level. I don't expect a century old building to be ADA compliant, just be forewarned, that if like me, walking for you is not as easy as it used to be, all of Cripple Creek will take a while to navigate. But, I did it, so you can too!

BRASS ASS - Well, I went there. Again not much in my notes. Won a couple BJ hands so my $31 chip haul "only" cost $24. In the scan of the chips, I didn't include a Player's Card. That's because several of them are on the missing list, in hiding still, a couple of weeks after returning home.

COLORADO GRANDE - Couldn't find any tables here. Maybe they were/are on a different level or room from where I entered and ran into the cashier. The cashier had no problem with selling chips...

MIDNIGHT ROSE - Midnight Rose: Got a 1 and a 5 out of the poker room. Didn't have cash to get a 25 and they were really worn anyway. Also I may have a line on getting other chips from here from a local I spoke with who plays here all the time. Still waiting for the next email from him to see if an agreement can be worked out...

CENTURY CASINO - Very Friendly Dealers. Stopped to ask a lady who was obviously on her break where I needed to go to get a club card. She said she'd go over and get me one and did so, having the Pit Boss print one out for me. Her break was over and she came on to the Black Jack table I'd just climbed aboard. She busted the first 4 hands! Like I said: Very Friendly Dealers Played for a bit too long, but still won enough that my $31 in chips only cost me $22. Everyone was very nice and I'd certainly come back to play here again.

DOUBLE EAGLE CASINO - Double Eagle. Another Nice Casino. Not a "crowded" joint like in the older buildings, but in a way kills the flavor of the town. All the newer places start to look the same after a few hours, escpcially to a Las Vegan. Still if I was to spend the night in Cripple Creek, I'd likely be checking in here or the Wildwood. Just easier to do in one of the newer places. Lost a couple BJ hands, what else is new? Pretty looking chips at least. Had a bit of a time finding the ramp to get down to the level of the floor with the few tables in the pit. This is a "new" building and should have been much more handicapped friendly, the ramp should have been easier to find, better signage pointing it out. We Handicapable can be so {b}itchy at times! If I'd won $2 you wouldn't hear of my effort to find the table
WILDWOOD CASINO - Ah, At last we end up with the Wildwood. The Chicken Casino. Still can't believe I was taken in by the chance to be outsmarted by a future dinner
Per my MO, played a couple of hands, lost, cashier window... Asked Cashier about the Blue 50 cent chips. Any chance I could buy one? She went back and came out with 30 or so of them in a rack. Started going through them "gee some of these look just about new". Like potato chips, I couldn't eat just one. (thank goodness I didn't ask about $25 chips). In a fit of self control I only bought the 4 you see in the scan. They are nice chips.
I was starving after scooting around town all day. On the Food Front, they have you where they want you. No cheapie munchies, in the tourist part of town at least. But my empty stomach overruled my empty wallet, and I stopped in at their cafe. A French Dip with the dip being French Onion soup caught my eye. Not unreasonably priced. Served with French Fries (hot ones, unlike some other places...). Excellent! Just a bit different and quite pleasing with the soup as a dip. Not enough soup for me, as I finished it with just half the sandwich, but I took the second half to go anyway. Not such a good idea to be Dipping and Driving on the way out of town in the dark.
