In a June 2009 article by Brendan Murray, Card Player.com
announced the formation of a new organization called the
International Poker Federation. There were seven founding
members, headed by UK poker journalist Anthony Holden.
The other original members were from France, Holland,
Denmark, Russia, Ukraine and Brazil. I’m not sure what
(if anything) became of the IPF and their grand scheme to
become poker’s worldwide regulating body – but they did
produce this cool chip!
