YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO ATTEND OUR MONTHLY MEETINGS!!!
At our meetings, we have trading and selling of Casino Memorabilia which starts at 6 PM and resumes following the meeting. You are invited to both the meeting and trading sessions.
Early Bird Auction
At our meeting, the Early Bird Auction begins at 6:45 pm followed by our speaker and then the club meeting. You can see the list of items and scans in this message. In the event you are not able to make it in person, you are welcome to email Jim Follis at jim@gamingore.com with your highest proxy bid. Just include your CCGTCC or SNCCC membership number and which lot you want to bid on. Payment for winning bids is due at the end of the auction. If you are an absentee winner, you will receive an invoice. You may bring any items for future auctions with you. Any form of Casino Memorabilia is welcome. The Club takes a 20% seller’s fee unless you opt to donate all proceeds to the Club.
Guest Speaker
This month’s scheduled Guest Speaker is Wendy Rock, General Manager of Gamblers General Store. Wendy has been instrumental in developing the Gamblers General Store from one display case in a store front to the 8000 sq ft. store it is today. Wendy feels that keeping this store a unique "must see" attraction has been challenging as well as rewarding. She has worked with this "family" owned company all through high school and when it was sold in 1983 went full time with the new owners until it was resold to the present owner who developed the Gamblers General Store. In its day Nevada Layout Co. was the key provider of table layouts for all the casinos. Long before the computerized generation when we still had to had cut the material by hand. Wendy's expertise in all casino and home gaming products is well known in the Las Vegas community. Wendy has made many contacts for movie or TV set props like custom poker chips, table layouts, memorabilia, as well as being a location for movie scenes inside.
Raffle 50/50
There will be a 50/50 raffle for cash and/or prizes which is quite fun! We have some great prizes that have been donated by our membership as well as from local vendors.
If you are not yet a member or your membership has lapsed, I invite you to join the SNCCC. An annual membership is only $12.00 payable at the door. You are, of course, welcome as a guest to see what we’re all about and you can bring your friends as well!!!!!!!!!!
Our meetings are short, which gives you lots of time to socialize and gain knowledge about whatever interests you with casino memorabilia.
