About 20 years ago Howdy did one of his famous " Chip Digs " at Sharkey's upstairs on the second floor. It was just a small gathering of chip collectors and dealers. We all had a great time mostly selling and trading chips among our selves. The best part was sitting around with Sharkey and listening to his stories about the old days. I remember one evening after hanging around listening to his tales. He handed each of us a live $100 chip and told us to go downstairs and have some fun.
Sharkey was real " stand-up " guy. I always enjoyed talking to him.
