MEMORIES: I and two buddies in 1951 drove a '27 Model A to California from S. Dak. (1600 + miles); 10 mpg; 40 mph (except uphill on 2 lane highways as the interstate was just being built); had a gas cooker in the rear (along with one kid) for coffee and meals.
