It is a puzzler. These turned up for the first time a couple years ago from a guy in New Orleans who had a bunch of other New Orleans chips (lots of Luke’s) but none from Jeffersonville. I did some poking around and didn’t find a 117 Club in NO, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there.

The attribution is based solely on how much it LOOKS like The Jeffersonville chips, nothing more.

And before someone claims a story about how the guy’s grandfather was an Indiana gambler, I’ll tell you I talked the guy myself and there is no connection. If there isn’t a note in The Chip Guide for it, I need to add one.
