Two distinct shades of gray -- on extremely light and other dark. This guy selling the chips reclaims old fixtures and carved wood from antebellum homes. These chips came from a two-story house in the historic Tulane Avenue district. He said they came falling from the second floor after he removed some boards on the bottom floor. He has others but they are in his safe deposit box at his bank. On the Luke's he said he had some $100, $25 and even some different color fractional denominations. He did not know the original house owner's name, but said the address on the chips was pretty close to where the house was located (Possible owner or high roller at the casino). That flea market is only open on Saturday and Sundays, and I am going back to Biloxi Friday. If he is back, I might have him let me at least photograph the others so we can see what he has in his stash. I have his phone number in my IPHONE as Tommy Chips.
