Sometimes we assume that we are the only person emailing a seller when, in fact, there are many times where we are not... and, though this is not advice; whenever I see something I like (such as you did), I try to visualize there are others who may also be interested and never, ever have I asked a seller if they would be willing to accept less than what they first asked... though it has been asked of me many times since 1997, on ebay.
