Cindy and I took a trip to Hot Springs, AR last week and stopped in Tunica along the way. There are now 4 closed properties in Tunica - Harrahs, Roadhouse, Isle of Capri and Resorts. Huge fall from where Tunica was 10 years ago. Hollywood and Horseshoe have the only two poker rooms still running. And Hollywoods' is dying fast. After letting the poker room manager go (who had been there since it opened) they were no longer open on Mondays. Then they were closed on Monday and Tuesday. Now they are only open on the weekends. I can see where this is headed. My favorite dealer even left to join her former boss at Horseshoe.
