Spoke to Victor Lownes in 2006 and no mention at all so I think the family owned them personally although doesn't change the beauty or value at all, just a loose end. He gave me an idea for my book and couldn't remember anything about chips and didn't mention plaques, but then neither did I so.............missed a trick there.
Le Cercle stuff on sale from now and seriously they will fly out so personal invites,really is last chance.
