Come in number 0108, your time is up......

Apologies to "Zabriskie Point" and The Pink Floyd for adapting it but it just felt right.
Make sure you are sitting comfortably with a drink and a pillow just in case before even attempting to start reading this "novel"
Sorry I don't have the energy to look through all of the posts to find your name but I remember a collector of the number above used to be on here sometimes so.............
I's funny the things that stick out but whilst sorting out my Le Cercle find I kept coming across 0108 so thought I would mention it just in case Mr 108 wanted to speak to me about possibly getting a couple at least, no worries if I hear nothing I just wanted to offer it out there.
No I didn't put them on the side as my house looks like a bomb hit it what with Elvis records and others, casino chips, plaques and much more junk besides I just couldn't but most are "logged" in my head (although memory like a goldfish at the moment but I'm pretty sure most of you will appreciate that) so I will be able to find them again in time.
This is also the "2nd last call" for any collectors that wish to possibly (not so definitely now as other spheres are much more involved) purchase some of the James Bond type (loaned to the film company by the casino it is believed so 100% genuine and I am happy to argue the point with ANYBODY privately, See Scott just for you that was) as I know for sure I should have the actual ones used in the film but as I don't know the numbers for sure I can't verify it "yet" but I have feelers everywhere including inside Les A so although doubtful that such a list of the screen used borrowed ones exists, if it does somebody will be well rewarded if/when it does turn up and if able to be verified as that takes the beautiful plaques up to another level!!! Stellar in fact. As I have said, a substantial collection but nowhere near the (now mostly in collections) Crockfords and CHC "hoards " that were massive in comparison but nowhere near as historic or beautiful even (just IMKHO but then I am biased). I have the utmost respect for the type of person that managed to sort out and sell so many and making so much money in the process but that is not my main concern actually as I should make a decent profit regardless but I just feel it is more important to make sure the right people have the chance to own a set. Trust me you will regret being able to own a set (if that is your "bag as they say"). I also hope that it will generate more interest in casino chip collecting in general and especially the UK stuff which is vastly under rated IMHO as Vegas and the US stuff is obviously and understandable much more important to most Americans than the UK stuff (apart from 4 or 5 adventurous collectors) so it will be good for the hobby all round I hope. Yes I know I can't shut up about them, I have never been so excited in my life (no sarky comments please) but it seems to be infectious as some of the Bond fans I am speaking to are actually more excited than I am and are falling over themselves to get hold of them but as I have said over and over again, I really do hope that some of the more astute (and interested in UK or historic pieces) will catch up fast. They will have to as I thoroughly expect the bulk of the Bond ones to sell, trust me. Half are already prebooked if I want them to be. In fact I could just sell all of them in that market and it has already had an impact as some with no interest in casino stuff are so happy to have a chance to get hold of these that they now want 1 of everything I have which is obviously good for me but I want it to spread out a little more .
If you managed to make it to the end of this monotonously boring and repetitive post then I applaud your patience (or stubbornness) and expect a couple more emails to join the 15 or so I am wading through at the moment. The rest of you probably needed some kool aid about 10 minutes ago.Only 1 set of LGK has left my side so far so I haven't really done that much to try to sell them and doubt I'll have to really as they sell themselves. All of the facts about most of this (painful reading trust me and not for the faint hearted) is on the poker forum site I joined to actually sell some playable sets of LGK chips (including some slightly worn one as well as brand new unused in boxes ones) and it has just gone from strength to strength without much help already really.
Right, sorry to all those who don't like novel sized posts like this so pictures just to show some of them off a little more.
I hope everybody has a great weekend and if you do contact me it may take a while but hopefully I will ive long enough to get back to every person eventually and before all sold). I'm even boring myself now, sorry.
The main Bond plaque.......

The later (1970s?) set. Absolutely stunning, the pictures are amateur so don't do any of the item justice really but hint as how beautiful they are (if you like that sort of thing).

Bored again, yet? Tough. The cheap seat plaques seen in Dr NO and the £5 used in the Beatles film (same type obviously not THE one unless somebody can get the actual numbers again to confirm/verify)

The first set (I think). Not many as "nice" (haha) as this one so only maybe 3 of that low quality, but still a keeper in my eyes, as they are taken.
The others will be given as freebies as they are totally wrecked but nice to maybe make into a paperweight perhaps. The ones given as gifts will have centres popping out and are truly manky but you have the option of throwing away if not wanted but I just can't do that. They will all be individually wrapped in bubble wrapped and packaged to within inches of their lives (yes another Floyd reference).

Many of the yellow £50s (also seen on screen) are faded, warped and have the same old ink problems on the backs (only funnily enough) but still have a little something to redeem themselves in the main.
Many £5s are literally like bubblegum and I may make a sculpture or 50 out of some of them. A resin table may appear too at a later date. So many possibilities (for other people as I don't have the time, inclination or skill sets needed).
Comparisons............

Just out of interest, is there a record for the longest, most boring post on here? Anybody? I bet somebody knows.
Right, I'm done, honestly, that's it. no more .Promise. Just remember I said"2nd last warning" before my "Sale of the Year" (pathetic I know but hey, am I bothered?). If anybody has been scared away then I apologise but hopefully one or 2 will understand my enthusiasm.
