on Freemont St. Good old days in the 60's we went with neighbors 2-4 times a year.f those day's no ATM, no credit established, no check-cashing stores. So we brought cash. Things were cheap, rooms 8-10.00 night for .39 breakfast .99 dinner specials. So 100.00 went a long way room, shows, drinks, gas, and gaming. Funny story Kay, myself and Jim's wife were standing in line to check-in at the DI, Jim went to gamble, he was playing the big wheel 1.00,5.00,10.00,20.00 & 40.00 he put 5.00 on the one dollar, then doubled up every loss thinking it had to hit, and lost 100.00. came back before we even checked in told us the story. We were so mad at him, I gave him 25.00 of my 100.00 and told him no more. I can't remember how our trip ended up. I still see him, and hard ass him of that event.
