At the moment I am cleaning and separating all different types and denominations and stacking sideways after cleaning. I will then take out the nastier ones and keep away from the rest. When in denominations they seem to be okay as 3 different types (I think) so hopefully no contamination, or not much so far. Considering they've been in a barn for the last 25 plus years I think they should hopefully last a couple more weeks after a fairy liquid washing and polishing for the ones still with brown marks or stickiness from the tape that was used to bundle some of them up. Even that deteriorated in different ways depending on where the box was in the stack I suppose. You know how it goes, I know you've been in the same situation probably more than once. Wastage will be plenty and it hurts every time one gets put in the rubbish box but some people have shown an interest even in those so some may well find new homes (as freebies probably) but still, lots saved and mostly in decent condition. Again, many thanks David, in way over my head so all help is appreciated.
