Agree completely. Plastic BAD! I do a lot of purchasing online, as many of the folks on this board know. I absolutely hate receiving chips that have been stored for long periods in those plastic pockets. As your evidence shows, especially on that type of chip, the ink just sticks to the plastic and ruins the chip. I've even had the inlay stick to the plastic and come completely separated from the chip. Very frustrating. Now when I get new chips, I immediately cut (yes, cut) them out of whatever plastic, vinyl, cardboard, etc. thing they arrive in, and then put them directly into airtites for storage, display, whatever. Overkill probably, but better than ruining something before I can even enjoy it.
