Showed the chip to one of my developers who actually wrote a Mandarin language course for English speakers. The first words out of her mouth were "Middle Kingdom." She's not normally that definitive on character translations. The Kingdom could also be Nation or Country...basically, it means China. On one side, the rectangle symbol with the line through it means Middle. Duh! The symbol on the other side is Kingdom.
