I was communicating with Life Member Allan McCurdy concerning the restart to our Chip Board Poker tournament that resumes next week on Poker Stars. Although he said he probably may not be able to play this season, he told me he has been in the hospital for the third time this year. He authorized me to release this information to all who know him, and said both himself and Ann are having medical problems. Everybody sees his posts for the Chip Guide almost daily as he is one of the most prolific collectors I know. If there's a chip out there, he has one somewhere and he will find it. And, he said he is getting ready for a birthday this month. He asked me to tell everyone that neither he or Ann can fly anymore and he dearly misses the comrade that each convention brings. I told him his family was added to our family's prayer lists. And, his response, "I am feeling better already!" I think I speak for all members in wishing him better health. He taught me a lot about chip collecting -- the right way -- when I first met him, and we have been friends since.
