I don't think the post office should have allowed this to happen.

Lately, and too often; it appears that the USPS is pushing Priority and Express and, in this case Express certainly was not needed for such a short distance. I have advised the seller to take action in requesting a refund for an error that I don't think they should have allowed to happen.
