The interesting thing about the Veins of Gold
In Response To: Who makes these??? ()

design (my description) is that the pattern seems to be different on every chip. That is, the thick "gold nuggets" appear in different positions and patterns on each chip. Like trying to compare snowflakes, and I gave up on that after maybe 5 minutes at age 15 when I returned to New York from living in Florida for years. Correct, they are "Paulson Premium" chips made by GPI and have begun showing up at various casinos - see, for example, the $25 and $100 chips from Rain Rock Casino in Yreka, CA. CG 199474 and 199477. Not hot-stamped gold, that I can tell; somehow built into the outer rings.

Those "Veins" are known a "tulle" in the industry.
In the old days the "tulle" was actually fine ~~~
My doctor calls the Veins . . .
...and stripes on an Orchid lip are called veining
