this new dollar chip makes you snort and prance around!

I dined at Casino Pauma yesterday, then hit 70 Free Spins on Africa Stacks. After that fun, I spotted a player's club card on the floor - turned out to be a Pala card with a design I'd not seen before. Suddenly had the idea - if Pala has new cards, might they also have new chips? Just an orange-roll down the street so I stopped in. Immediately saw $1 chips with black inlays on the tables! How to get them? Asked for five, but they're mixed in with the older plaid chips - only got a couple. Off to another table, asked for ten but the dealer rolled her eyes, the pit boss said, no, too many; got only five (of which just one was black) - next tried the craps table for a stack of twenty. Stickman gave me a dirty look but sold them, only 4 more black chips in those. At another table - pit boss suggested I buy from the cashier. Went there to cash back all the plaid dollar chips filling my trousers pockets - cashier said no - cannot exchange any at his window, but try the Power Room. By now the Pala gaming staff were all rolling their eyes. Off I went, the Poker Cashier only had three black dollar chips but said, try the Chip Runner. Chip Runner wasn't thrilled with the prospect of selling any of her hoard, but the Poker Room Manager said, "Go ahead and look, sell him just five." Deal!

And that's how I pranced outta there, snorting loudly. Nyeh-heh-heh-heh-heeeh!

(No new fives yet, and thank goodness for that. As it is I'm afraid to show my horse face at Pala again for a few months at least.)
