I just sorted through my illegals & crest & seals chips extracting and counting me Elks club chips: found I had chips from 437 lodges &, about 525 chips. About 1980 or so I started to collect Elk Club chips (I"m a member) hoping to collect one from each club. Alas at age 85 that's not going to happen but I've amassed a lot. At first I wrote letters to clubs asking for a chip but that didn't draw any results. i stopped at clubs in my travels but my travels decreased with age and ennui. So I bought--at flea markets, on-line (eBay) and from collectors, i know I don't have anywhere near the largest collection--many have more--like Dale Seymour, Alan Myers (before he sold his collection), Roy Klein, Robert Eisenstadt, and probably many others others. I have 75 Crest & Seals--but go to Rich Hanover's page and it's clear I have a long long way to go there as well. But it's been fun even if my kids' inheritances has siffered.

But I invite others to share their Elks Club chip collections (and show their duplicates, of course).
