I offered all of the tokens in one lot and sold all the chips (they were all Atlantic City and rare Nevada) within a few months time; ads in our magazine and on our convention floor.
I did not have a table at first and was selling up a storm outside of the room and, though I wanted to go inside, I was advised not to (for obvious reasons 😀) but that was okay with me 😀...
Then, upon walking inside, I greeted those whom I knew while walking table to table to table... and when I came to Al Rollins' table, I noticed he had a corner setup with one table completely empty. I asked him what was his plans for the table and he said that those who want to trade with eachother could do so; there at the table. The idea sounded very kind, and I asked Al if I can rent half of the table and he said that was fine. I sold everything I came with (and more 😀). I paid Al what the total table setup cost him + and everybody was happy.. And here is the best part; everyone was honest with me regarding chip values since I knew very little about Nevada and AC chips, but had the right stuff. A few of the well-known, old-time dealers were very helpful and they, too, were taken care of at the end of the show.
With a huge inventory it takes time.. and you came to the right place to ask. Good luck.
