THE FUTURE LOOKS VERY BRIGHT FOR THE MOGH!
The Museum of Gaming History, (MoGH) is an Educational Project of The Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club, Inc. (CC>CC) d/b/a Casino Collectibles Association (CCA), an IRS-approved 501 (c) (3) Tax Exempt not-for-profit Corporation. The MoGH Advisory Board includes professionals from the gaming industry, museums, libraries, corporations and various other walks of life. The Advisory Board provides advice on a number of issues relating to the establishment of a permanent brick and mortar museum. The MoGH was established to be a world class resource and reference center for research regarding the study and preservation, of Gaming History.
The MoGH Board and The MoGH Advisory Board met on June 17th, 2019 at the MOB MUSEUM and later that day, the MoGH Board met at Encore Executive Suites, Las Vegas in furtherance of its mission to increase the awareness, knowledge and understanding of the evolution of Gaming History and its unique impact on society. The purpose of these meetings was to review and evaluate the progress that the MoGH is making as it moves towards its ultimate goal of a free-standing brick and mortar museum. Myriad items were discussed including fund-raising, grant-writing, possible permanent locations for the museum, discussion of the current MoGH website and its future re-design, the status of the current MoGH exhibits and displays around Las Vegas and a comprehensive discussion of the ChipGuide, which provides a virtual on-line experience, hosting over 230,000 scans of casino collectibles, a large part of which is available to the general public. The future looks very bright for the MoGH!
