For months I have seen this auction on eBay. I've always scoffed at it and passed it off. But it keeps coming back on eBay so I decided to comment on it here. What do you think?

The title of the auction explains it all:
"Vintage Crest & Seal Poker Chip B.P.O.E Elks - ERROR Two Elk Heads No Lodge #"
The purported "error" is that both sides are the same (no bpoe lodge number!).

I believe that such chips were often made that way, sold as generic chips, even mostly to Elks Clubs -- a simple generic chip, less costly than ordering them with custom lodge numbers on them.

Again, what do you think?
