Marian Hicks who built the famous El Cortez and Thunderbird hotels also built the Algiers hotel which was next to the Thunderbird and the Riviera this hotel had no casino if you wanted a quiet room you stayed at the Algiers....I have three room keys and postcards for $10 mailed ....
