woke up and guards not allowing people into the casino area. We had cashed in our chips (darn it) before going to bed. We played the horse's heavy for two day's had enough points to buy merchandise. Both selected a nice leather jacket, with Sands logo in back. Decided we would pick up the jackets after checking out in the morning. Racebook was also closed. Can't remember the book managers name, but he knew us well, went on to be a famous sports book manager at a big hotel on the strip. Always would comp us for 10 years. Wish I was a collector then.
