My brief notes don't reveal if my blue B&S

chip is of the L's mold or Large Crown. OK, OK, my system has some shortcomings. The physical chip can be in any of maybe 8 or more albums. Eventually I will have to go through all of them, to check whether some recent purchases are duplicates, or maybe "betterments" in which case the nicer-looking chip will replace the older one. I save up a whole bunch of chips (already have around 25) before I go through all the effort. Yes, it's a hobby and it's a lotta fun, but sometimes . . . it's an effort too! (All other collectors feel the same?)

I remember your research as to the University Club L's mold chips from Oakland. I have noted at least one of those to be as you say. Think the San Diego University Club just read UC. I for one appreciate your efforts at unraveling a lot of mysteries about who got which chip!

Hey, does anyone else also have this problem? - When I grab a notebook that's stacked up, every so often, I inadvertently hold it upside down. Then all the chips fall out. Followed by a lot of "naughty words" I should not really repeat on this site. Now that is a real curse.
