So...it is not impossible that the B & S chips didn’t end up in San Diego....but highly unlikely?

I’m not sure when the chips were introduced into the hobby, but I best it would of been about the time Bruno Spickerman passed away. I don’t have that info (yet).... but I’m guessing around 2004+/-
