Or in comparison, a 1931 Ford Model A Coupe sold for about $400-$500 in those days ... so the license cost was about 1 Model A each month.
Plus, there's the overhead and labor cost to run the place. Hard to believe it generated enough cash to make it profitable, with 10-cent craps, etc.
