Old Roy G. Biv....

Back in the day -- years ago -- a very fine general science teacher taught us kiddos the colors of the rainbow by using the name Roy G. Biv to remember the colors, and the proper order that they appeared on the color spectrum. Thus, the colors were identified by the alphabet. Here we go: R (Red) O (Orange) Y (Yellow) G (Green) B(Blue) I (Indigo) and V (Violet) Put all the first letters together to spell (Roy G Biv) That's the way science was taught back in the 50s. It was a snap and here's a snapper to show:
