Not necessarily....I don’t have a record of the JV chip (that I have found), but I come across new info every couple of days. Some of it doesn’t make sense , while others make perfect sense.

C.W. Rice records are a complete mess. The company changed hands 4-5 times and many records were damaged or lost. Each owner had their own way of keeping records. I still do not know who “C.W. Rice” is/was or if they were a real person.

When I first started...I only categorized the stamped cards..and was really only interested in the California records. Now I am realizing the importance of all of them.
You can see the have stamped cards, hand written notes, notes on Clubs with owners, number of tables and operating hours.
Some are just people’s names..no City...or club.
