Mustang Betty's Antiques has opened in what was most recently Larry Trapp's Kentucky Gambling Museum at 600 Monmouth Street in Newport. Larry owns the building and is leasing so that vendors can use the space for their "stuff". Larry has a few of his gambling items for sale there also, so if anyone is in the area, stop in and see what's there. Larry spends time there also.
We wrote an article for the Club Magazine several years ago called Booze, Broads, Murder and Mayhem which may be around somewhere. I don't have a link, but will send it to anyone who e Mails me. Our old friend, Gene Trimble once had a bar in the location called the Mustang which he described as a "topless, redneck go-go joint. Oh the days!
