I have been buying and selling silver strikes for a number
of years, and offer over 750 in my Ebay store ranging from
around $20 up to over $5500.00. I have common, hard to
find, rare and very rare and over 125 of the $200 & $300
1 lb. and 1/2 lb. silver strikes.
About 6 months ago I did get interested into also buying and
selling casino chips in my Ebay store, and I have purchased
chips from many of the members here. I have found members
in this club to be fun to talk with, courteous, helpful with any
questions I have had about chips, and most of all, to be fair
and honest with each other.
I have a situation now that I need some help from the experts
in this group on identifying some chips.
I just purchased (at what I feel was a very fair price), a lot of
almost 300 chips, pretty much all used but most all in very good
condition. What is unique about this lot, is that they are either
roulette chips or they have initials, letters or numbers on them.
It gets a little more interesting, because all of the approx. 300
chips were wrapped in old musty smelling newspapers, all from
the "El Paso Times - April 2, 1981" (38 years ago)
I have no idea what I have stumbled upon or any type of value .....
I have no intention of keeping any of them, and will be selling
them all. I may have nothing, and yet there may be some chips
that may have some value.
I know that there is all types of chip collectors in this group, and
would like to know if I should just scan and number the chips in
groups of 20 or so and post it and just take offers on them for a
few days, individually or as a lot?
Your input appreciated ....
