several months ago, a co-worker of mine (the poker tournament director with 25 yrs. experience) knew i collected chips and asked me, "i only collect Rio chips, how do i know if i have them all?" i referred him to the chipguide, he looked it up on his phone, and said "this is great, i cant wait to get home and go through my chips."

the next day with a confused look on his face he asked, "what is a personal chip? i thought they were casino owners but i didn't recognize any of the names?"

i explained that chip collectors make a chip of themselves, and then insert it into the museum.

his response....."and they allow that?"

my response....."not only do they allow it, they encourage it"

his response...."that's the dumbest thing i ever heard"

i would have to agree with him
