By means of ready reference, a few blocks from the Spooky Winchester Mansion. To me, an odd place for a cardroom, but I guess the locals were really into cards because it was always full of gamblers. The casino, I mean, not the Winchester House. House full of gambling ghosts would be . . . eerie!
The old 101, on the east side of the Freeway, was a super-sized cardroom as well. Lots of gamblers or gambling ghosts in San Jose I guess.
The M8trix, which took over the Garden City license, is a block from the new 101 Casino, near the airport, so the ghosts and stray airplanes only have to fly a short distance.
