It was a large room, as I recall, built something like the Oaks Club, with an upper walkway that could be used as a "gallery" by spectators and the "pit" where card games went on. Even with the newer set of "flower" chips, there were a number of different varieties circulating simultaneously. A collector would do well to buy ten or more chips of the same denomination from the Cage to see what gems he would be handed. The parking lot was huge, too - almost a full block.
Don't have your "missing" L's chips, though; those puppies were before my time as a collector.
