One seller told me he prefers selling to a collector, as they pay a higher price than someone buying to re-sell. He claimed those people always try to haggle a lot with him. Generally, a return buyer is well liked by many sellers who may offer a discounted price when they recognize a familiar face month after month.
The main savings would be avoiding a shipping fee. Main drawback, apart from overpricing, is that some flea market goods are defective (cracked or worn chips, stained tokens, etc.). Still, I find it fun to visit and see what's out there.
