I had a friend just visit for a shorter period, and he said there are plenty of old chips that locals will offer you for sale. However, one guide told my friend that most chips were fake. He didn't get me any cause he didn't know much about the chips offered. He really enjoyed taking a ride around the downtown areas in the classic cars -- especially like the 1955 red/white Chevy. He enjoyed his visit, and reported that he always felt safe, the food was great, and the people were extremely friendly.
