My interest in casino chips has increased over last months, and I plan to start a collection. However, I am a little bit lost about what to collect as there are so many different chips. I know that I want to collect chips from Nevada, but I do not know what exactly.

There is a casino that I do like in particular (due to its history) but does it make sense to collect all chips from this casino ? Is it a good way to start a collection?

In the "official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide", there are some recommandations (focus on a particular denomination, one chip from each casino in Vegas, etc...), but as the book becomes old, I'm wondering whether those recommandations are still valid.

Would you like tell me what kinds of chips do you collect? Do you specialize your collection on something in particular?
