I went to the Temecula Creek Inn golf pro
In Response To: Re: Black Clover chips? ()

shop and asked for chips (ball markers). The clerk pointed to a jar of those Black Clovers (only in black and orange colors) and said those were what they use. I don't know if Black Clovers are at other golf courses (apparently so). Inasmuch as it was St. Patrick's Day when I visited the Temecula golf course - I wonder if someone was playing a Clover-Day joke on the world.

It's possible Temecula Creek was out of whatever "regular" ball marker chips they use. Some day I'll return to see if that's so. No intention to deceive or mischaracterize the Black Clovers, but on that particular day, they were in such use there.

That's the story, and the Leperchauns on the green golf course can back it up.
