I picked these two boxes up in an antique store in the foothills at least ten years ago. The box has the image of one of the chips on the front. These chips show quite a bit of wear - as shown by the blue stack in the front. I have heard the "bus chip" story a lot of times but never talked to anyone who actually received one. I think the gift shop is the most likely case - maybe even given out as a redemption item for the slot jackpot tickets. The boxes are pretty sturdy. I didn't get any gaming layouts with them.
