I remember when a CCGTCC member who was a collector, dealer, author in the club magazine, and promoter of the hobby was given a lifetime ban from the club for allegedly selling a couple of phony brass core chips.

Fast forward a few years and the club makes an admitted thief, abuser, torturer, and murderer an honorary member who is feted at the banquet.

Sell phony chips to unsuspecting tourists....perfectly fine

Don't honor your listings here or on e-bay....perfectly fine

Threaten another collector with physical violence.....perfectly fine

The CCA'S priorities are messed up and judging from all the texts, e-mails, and phone calls i received from fellow collectors on the subject, i am guessing a majority of the club's membership agree with me.
