I had one from Taj that was similar. I assumed it was more light or sun damaged than an error.

I was planning to do a convention exhibit at some point by getting about 11 brand new chips from the cage, something like the Tropicana $1 LV when they were first released since i thought they would be a good candidate, and sticking them on my roof deck of my house here in Vegas. Put one of them in the safe (a control) and remove one on the 1st of each month and display the results.

Then i thought about buying another 10 and a piece of UV glass and putting 10 additional under UV glass, and then indirect sunlight, and you can see how my ADHD spiraled out of control and the whole thing was shot.
