Hi Fred I referred of these ashtrays as candy dishes they really weren’t meant to be used as an ashtray notice I don’t have a holder for the cigarette to sit on there delicate and very beautiful people would put their change or candy or mints etc. value about $20 each maybe a little more back in the day they’re not common and they were used for gift shop sales or premium VIP gifts hope this helps you take care
