its not about new issues. To me yes its worth 8.50 to 10.00 for a new issure, unused chip. I`m talking about chips acquired for face value and sold for hundreds of dollars. Just because it was a first issue and taken off of table or from cage at face and sold for hundreds in which , like other collectors, I bought. I know the theory , an item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Point was missed with the new issues of chips and making a couple dollars profit to cover all expenses. That has not been my experience. Again, I`m sorry if I offended anyone. This wasn`t pointed out to any one person, just general sales over the years. Ron
