That's so cool! lol! grin

All of the small town Nevada phone books that I showed you (Including the 16 page Carson City Bell book & the North Las Vegas Centel) are the smaller size....as are the 1937 & 1938 Nevada state phone books.

The 1939 state-wide Nevada book is when it started being the standard size that we're used to today...9x11 or thereabouts.
