Another Las Vegas Landmark Bites The Dust

Another old Las Vegas landmark seems to be doomed for demolition in the near
future. The old El Cid Hotel which caught fire about three months ago is inching
itself closer to being torn down. Whether the owner has the demolition started
or the city, the El Cid Hotel is now a city eye soar and filled with violations from
Metro Police and code violations with multiple fires. Like so many previous
buildings in Las Vegas, out with the old and in with a new idea of a flat empty
piece of land, the El Cid Hotel will soon become just another memory of old
Las Vegas ....
