I always thought the token commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Desert Inn but it seems that it's a $25 token. It also says 1988 and one troy ounce of sliver. I presume it's a commemorative copy of the MGM Desert Inn's regular $25 token but made in silver but I'm not a token guy. Take a look at my Sands token later in this tread.
