I don’t know if the ChipGuide is correct. I have other chip order info around here.(somewhere)
Landmark (Inn) used these 10c(both sides ) white chips. I would think these were ante chips. ....I don’t think there is another Landmark unless they are talking about Las Vegas....very, very doubtful.
In the late 1970’s early 80’s CW Rice Co started using carbon copy paper on some orders instead of the traditional hard card (Card board like ). The hard cards were hand typed (sometimes hand written) and stamped w/ the actual stamp that was to be on the chips. The carbon papered records were stamped too, but hand written and barely legible in most cases.
When I got all the info..I immediately put all the hard cards together. The carbon(ed) papers were left in the envelopes for safe keeping ....and kind of forgot about. I am now trying to go through all the info (and also doing a collection overhaul) to add info without damaging any on the records.
I know I have more info on the Lankmark Inn . CW Rice would of taken the order and had Burt make the chips. (Inlays too) CW Rice only stamped blank chips. So CW Rice would of stamped these 10c chips.
Lloyd Hickey also ordered 10c (both sides) chips in Chocolate (brown) He operated about 10 different clubs at different times in the Sacramento area. Those 10c brown chips were set to the ElmRancho...but could of been used in any or all of the exsisting clubs.
They used L mold, HHL, Flower mold, plain mold, and Dragon mold chips. I have seen orders for Hub (1 from memory)mold and Crest and Seal.
Hard to read..
