I see a lot of matchcovers... and try to browse them a bit. Especially if I’m not finding chips. And then the wife says.....OH No!! ...not matchbooks!! And I get pulled away.
Sometimes match covers will help lead up to Card room discoveries.

Most of the match cover/books I have picked up were because I couldn’t find any chips and didn’t want to go home empty handed.
