Had to work fast - a winter storm was moving in. Although the sky was blue when I arrived in Long Beach, it began raining before I'd walked along all the aisles at the flea market. And all the vendors scurried to pack up their wares while the canopies went sailing up into the air (there was wind with the cold front, too). Just as the black clouds loomed overhead, I spied an entire suitcase full of chips - with a sign Do Not Open - and no vendor anywhere in sight. Walked town the aisle a bit, doubled back . . . and he finally showed up, hastily grabbing his comic books and tossing them into his old VW van. He finally allowed me to open the Forbidden Box and I pulled out a stack of decent chips for $25. We shook hands, and the rain off ourselves, and I hustled outta there. Funny - nobody thought to bring umbrellas to sell!
A few items aren't yet on ChipGuide. Many other chips but I had most of them already.
CSULB - no, not the college - just Chips Showed Up at Long Beach.
